TeXtreme® thermoplastic variant in Rinspeed project

TeXtreme® has been used in some parts for the BamBoo concept car, the latest Rinspeed project. BamBoo partner Ticona has in the project cooperated with Oxeon in developing composite reinforcements for the car. Oxeon used Ticona’s Celstran® tapes to produce a thermoplastic variant of TeXtreme® fabric by utilizing their proprietary Tape Weaving Technology.

Rinspeed is a Swiss automobile manufacturer and tuning designer, the BamBoo car is their latest concept car project which was released at the 2011 Geneva motor show.
