The TeXtreme® Spread Tow reinforcements are available from 21gsm as UD tape, making it possible to use ultra-thin plies in applications where mechanical performance, cracks resistance and weight savings are critical, even at cryogenic temperatures. Thanks to its high process flexibility, the TeXtreme® technology offers a range of bi-axial or unidirectional Spread Tow reinforcements which are tailored to be easily used in various manufacturing processes including AFP/ATL, filament winding, autoclave cure or RTM.
