The +/- 45 woven variation of TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabrics provides the possibility to produce continuous length of +/-45 Spread Tow fabrics. The +/-45 fabric is ideal for applications when there is a need for +/-45 fiber orientations for torsional stiffness, such as wing skins. Compared to 0/90 and UD, the continuous +/-45 orientation saves both lay-up time (no splices) and material usage.
