Advanced composite solutions for frame, wheel, and component design demand materials that balance lightweight construction with strength, stiffness, and reliability. TeXtreme® Spread Tow reinforcements meet these demands by offering a refined alternative to conventional unidirectional (UD) carbon fabrics.

Traditional thin UDs often suffer from poor handling, excessive resin uptake, and limited formability. TeXtreme® addresses these issues through a unique architecture that combines multiple fiber orientations in a single, crimp-free layer. This allows for precise lay-up in complex geometries such as double curvatures, while maintaining optimal resin content and structural integrity.

The amount of material required per layer can be significantly reduced, resulting in lighter constructions without compromising performance. The material also improves impact and damage tolerance, especially in hybrid configurations using ductile fibers that prevent complete failure, which is a key factor in rider safety. Mechanical properties such as stiffness are preserved even after extensive fatigue cycling.

TeXtreme® enables performance-driven brands to engineer next-generation bike frames, wheels, and components with greater efficiency, precision, and durability.
