TeXtreme® Spread Tow reinforcements meet these demands by offering a refined alternative to conventional unidirectional (UD) carbon fabrics.

While traditional thin-ply UDs often suffer from poor handling, excessive resin absorption, and limited formability, TeXtreme® overcomes these limitations through a unique crimp-free architecture. Multiple fiber orientations are combined in a single layer, enabling precise lay-up in complex geometries such as double curvatures, while maintaining optimal resin content and structural integrity.

The result is significantly lighter constructions with no compromise in performance. Impact and damage tolerance are also improved, particularly in hybrid laminates using ductile fibers to prevent catastrophic failure, an essential factor in rider safety. Even after prolonged fatigue cycling, stiffness and mechanical integrity are retained.
