TeXtreme® Woven Spread Tow Carbon Fabrics

TeXtreme® Spread Tow Woven Carbon Fabrics are developed for advanced composite applications where directional stiffness, low weight, and high surface quality are critical. Built from ultra-thin Spread Tow unidirectional tapes, the fabrics are woven into a flat, crimp-free structure that minimizes fiber distortion and maximizes load transfer efficiency.

Available in both 0/90 and +/- 45 fiber orientations, these fabrics enable precise reinforcement along defined load paths, supporting high-performance laminate designs with reduced ply count and improved structural efficiency. The 0/90 variant offers excellent in-plane stiffness and impact resistance, while the +/- 45 configuration provides enhanced torsional rigidity, ideal for components subject to twisting forces.

The uniform fiber architecture facilitates smooth resin flow and results in a clean, aerodynamic surface finish. TeXtreme® woven fabrics offer excellent handling characteristics and are compatible with both prepreg and dry processing, enabling efficient production of lightweight, high-strength composite parts.
