TeXtreme® Woven Spread Tow UD Tape

TeXtreme® Spread Tow UD Tapes are designed to meet the demands of high-performance composites where every gram and every fiber counts. Their ultra-thin construction and precise fiber alignment provide outstanding strength-to-weight efficiency, enabling lighter, more durable parts without compromise.

These unidirectional (UD) tapes contain fibers aligned in a single direction, maximizing stiffness and load-bearing performance along defined axes. Each tape is formed by spreading fiber tows into flat, uniform strips that eliminate waviness, improve mechanical efficiency, and support precise reinforcement placement.

Local stiffness is significantly improved with these tapes, enabling optimized performance exactly where it is needed. The thin-ply format allows engineers to reduce structural weight while maintaining exceptional strength and durability. Available in both dry and prepreg formats, TeXtreme® UD Tapes support a wide range of composite manufacturing processes.
